About

Practice

Working with historic buildings requires a specific set of skills and rigorous attention to detail. With over 40 years’ experience across a broad spectrum of projects between our senior partners, Chedburn Design and Conservation offers a serious alternative to the larger practices in this field.

Operating throughout the southern part of the UK, we are committed to the principle of hands-on project management, and our personal experience and expertise is brought to bear across the entire portfolio.

Alongside the senior partners, George Chedburn and Angela Dudley, the company employs a small and enthusiastic team to provide technical and support services. Our modern offices just outside Bath have full studio facilities equipped with CAD and integrated office management systems.

Our specialist skill set, combined with the accessibility and commitment of a relatively small company, has attracted a diverse range of clients – see projects for examples.
